"Life is a journey, Let's make life happy" - an awarness program for degree students
The Department of Economics conducted an awarness program for degree students on 19/08/2025, 10 am at the College Seminar hall. Dr Suchithra devi, Hod, Department of Economics, delivered the welcome address. The resources person was Mrs Sheeja Dharan, Principal, Govt higher secondary school, Kazhakootam, who is also the coordinator of Mahas, an organization for social service. The topic was "Life is a journey, Let's make life happy". Ms Krishna gave a wonderful and inspiring motivational talk on the techniques to make life happier. She highlighted the fact that true happiness does not come from money and power, it emerges rather from healthy relationships.The resource person motivated all students to lead a healthy life through a balanced diet, proper exercises and meditation.She also quoted the real world examples of eminent personalities who struggled through miseries and hardships and finally succeeded in life. The session concluded with an interactive and sharing feed back of the students.Dr Raji Raveendran, felicitated the event. Mrs Veena C delivered the vote of thanks and the session concluded by 1 pm.

INAUGURATION OF ANTI-RAGGING WEEK CELEBRATIONS 2025 (AUGUST 12-18)
The Anti-ragging cell of Sree Narayana College, Chempazhanthy celebrates the Anti-Ragging week from August 12 to18,2025.
The cell organized Inaugural ceremony of Anti-Ragging week Celebrations 2025 on 12th August 2025 in the College seminar Hall. The programme was presided over by the Principal Prof. Dr. Rakhee A S and Inaugurated by Prof. Manoj Krishna Retired Faculty of Government Law College, Trivandrum and Kozhikkodu and currently Faculty at Mar Gregorios College of Law.
The event Began with a Prayer by IInd year BSc Student Arathy Anil and Followed by Welcome Address by Ms. Dhanya D S, Co-Ordinator of Anti-ragging cell. The Principal Prof. Dr. Rakhee A S delivered the presidential address. This was followed by ceremonial Lamp lighting by the Chief Guest Prof. Manoj Krishna, then he delivered the inaugural talk. Felicitations were offered by the IQAC coordinator Dr. Raji Raveendran and the college union Chairman Mr. Aromal N R. The inaugural function concluded with a gracious vote of thanks proposed by Preethi.
In the next Session, the Resource Person conducted a comprehensive awareness programme focusing on the laws pertaining to ragging, their legal implications, preventive strategies, and the shared responsibility of the student community in nurturing a respectful academic environment. The enthusiastic participation of students reflected the success of the programme and the college’s dedication to sustaining a ragging-free campus.
