The program began in Sree Narayana college Chempazhanthy in the year 2016. The first batch successfully finished their training by 2018. The current batch 2019-20 batch was selected after interviewing over 100 candidates. A total of 50 students were selected from the lot, and 2 batches were formed with 25 students each.

ASAP curriculum involves two sections of training:

• Communication and IT training (180 hours)
• Skill course training (100 hours)

Communication and IT training sessions are scheduled in the college itself. On successful completion of the course the student will receive a certificate from British council.  The program is fashioned in such a way as to bring the student on stage and ease him to do his/her best in public platforms. IT training in the programme is aimed at overall understanding of the working nature of computers, social media and the like. The skill training sessions are managed by a programme manager from ASAP. On completion of the course students are awarded with a skill certificate from the Govt of Kerala.The course has certainly had an impact in student's overall development and will definitely reap huge benefits in the years to come in the employment sector of our state.
