Good Manners and Conduct in the Campus

1 When a student meets a member of the teaching staff of the college within the campus or outside, it is a matter of politeness that he/she should greet him/her.
2 When a teacher enters a class, the students must keeps standing until the teacher has invited them to sit down or he/she himself/ herself occupied his/her seat.
3 Students should keep with them texts and note books required for the classes they attend.
4 No student shall leave the classroom during a lecture without the permission of the teacher.
5 Students who happen to have no class should not loiter in the corridors of the campus during the class hours.
6 Students are forbidden to attend or organise any meeting in the college or to collect money for any purpose without the permission of the Principal. They should not circulate among the students any notice of petition or paste it any where in the college premises without any written sanction of the Principal. Political activism is strictly banned in the campus. Students resorting to strikes are strictly prohibited from entering the verandah of the building or the class rooms.
7 Students are not allowed to make a complaint in a body or to address any authority in collective petition. Such combined action is subversive of good order. They should always be respectful to seniors and superiors, polite and courteous to all, ready to oblige and show themselves lovers of good order and decourm.
8 Habitual negligence in college work, dishonesty, obscenity in word or any other acts of misconduct will involve severe disciplinary action.
9 Students are forbidden from making any mark on the furniture or on the walls of the college.
10 Students are expected to maintain decency and decorum in dress and behaviour.
11 Any damage done to college property will have to be made good.
12. Any student who is persistently insubordinate, who is repeatedly or wilfully mischievous, who is guilty of fraud or malpractice in connection with examinations or who, in the opinion of the Principal, is likely to have an unwholesome influence on his fellow students, shall be removed from the rolls. The removal shall be temporary or permanent according to the gravity of the offence.
To fulfil the vision and mission of the college following activities are undertaken:
- Providing quality higher education in humanities, arts and science subjects.

- Teachers are committed to the academic improvements and upliftment of the students. They follow tutorial ward system and have a closer contact with students.
- Teachers update themselves by organizing and attending seminars, conferences and workshops and by presenting and publishing papers.
- Teachers actively involve themselves in undertaking Major and Minor Research Projects, besides guiding Ph.D., scholars.
- As part of the Choice based Semester Course offered at the graduate level, elective Courses, Complementary courses and Skill-Based Courses are offered to students to develop their potentialities in various levels.
- Career Guidance and Placement Cell provides training to students on Personality Development and Soft-skill Development and prepare them with employable skills.
- All programmes of academic and non academic nature are planned for an over all growth of the student community.
- Our College having an experienced team of highly qualified, motivated and dedicated staff supported by infrastructural facilities is imparting meaningful and disciplined education to students. The main aim of the college is to create a group of knowledgeable and responsible citizens who would be an asset to the future society.
