Best Paper Award for paper presented by Devipriya MS, Devipriya V. and Udayan PS.,on Morphological and Taxonomical Studies on Eight Species of Salacia L.  at the National Seminar on Flowering Plant Reproduction & Diversity Post Graduate Department of Botany, Fatima National College, Kollam, Kerala 9th to 10th  January2015.
  Devipriya V. along with Devipriya MS, Regy Yohannan and Udayan PS.,has reported two new species of Salacia, the locally common endemic species of which has been found to be effective against colon cancer and cervical cell lines. This study was done in collaboration with RGCB, Thiruvananthapuram.
  Dr Devipriya V. is also a Fellow of the Indian Association for Angiosperm Taxonomy; Member, Executive Council, IAAT; Member, Executive Council, The Society of Cytologists and Geneticists, India and Reviewer, Journal of Human Ecology.
  Dr Devipriya.V served as an Expert Member of Evaluation Subcommittee of Green Protocol Committee of 35th National Games, India at Thiruvananthapuram from 31st January to 14th February 2015.
  Dr Devipriya.V also Judged the Science Exhibition organized as part of National   Science Day celebrations at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan’s Vivekananda Vidya Mandir, Manvila, Thiruvnanthapuram on 21st February 2015.
